Oh and if you’re back you must visit http://www.buchstabenmuseum.de/ — a museum (or proto-museum) devoted to collecting letters from old signs. See also http://www.buchstabenmuseum.de/buchstaben/buchstaben/sammlung.php and I’m translating their website so it will all be in English soon.

Too bad that I haven’t known about the museum so far – I visited Berlin last May without seeing something like that. But now …. the next time I’ll go east I will definetely drop by.
